গ্রিন ইউনিভার্সিটির উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. মো. গোলাম সামদানী ফকির এবং উপ-উপাচার্য অধ্যাপক ড. মো. আব্দুর রাজ্জাক এতে প্রধান ও বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। মূল বক্তব্য উপস্থাপন করেন রবি আজিয়াটা লিমিটেডের সিইও মাহতাব উদ্দিন আহমেদ।
অনুষ্ঠানের প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে অধ্যাপক মো. গোলাম সামদানী ফকির বলেন, একজন শিক্ষককে শুধু শিক্ষাদান ও গবেষণায় পারদর্শী হলেই চলবে না, পাশাপাশি তাকে ভালো লিডারও হতে হবে। তিনি বলেন, একবিংশ শতব্দীতে লিডারশিপের ধরন পরিবর্তন হয়েছে। এখন যেকোনো প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য অংশগ্রহণমূলক লিডারশিপই বেশি জরুরি। যদি এর সঙ্গে নিজেদের খাপ খাইয়ে নেয়া না যায়, তবে শিক্ষাসহ সবক্ষেত্রে গুণগত মান বৃদ্ধি করা চ্যালেঞ্জ হয়ে দাঁড়াবে।
